A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
How wonderful to have your own grapevine never know you might be lucky this year with the beautiful weather we are having. Lovely poetry to go with your vine.
How wonderful -Hazel !! And a great image captured and presented. Supported by wonderful DHL 's poem --a fav for me !! How's Master Jinks this a.m. ? Behaving I hope!!
A nice reminder of your recent French excursion. Do they not ripen at all? You have reminded me of our neighbour when we were first married. We lived next door to a polish couple and he group grapes in the back yard. This was Lancashire no less! He always picked them. He was an amazing baker too, oh the cakes they gave us, happy days;0)
My mouth is watering just thinking about sour grapes......they do look the part though Hazel......we are having so much sun this year they might surprise you!
Cakes and wine - sounds like paradise! Our grapes never get beyond a certain stage - but - they are looking good this year.
IF these ripen I might be asking for the recipe!
And you are certainly so generous!!
He does seem a little subdued, Beryl!
