at the zoo

Yesterday, when I took my new camera to the zoo, photo ops were quite limited: the giraffes were in the giraffe house; the snow leopards were snoozing; my favourites, the penguins, were uninspiring.

So I got back to my car, put my camera in its case and then this robin flew down to the ground. Like a true 365er I got my camera out again. The robin just hopped about for what seemed like ages in robin terms and I managed a couple of shots.

The pic is hugely cropped and I was quite pleased with the quality.
