Today is our 46th wedding anniversary. How time flies!!
I think I'd better leave the comments at that, except to say thanks to our friend, Sylv, for our photo.
As we sat down for a bit at West Dean Gardens, she produced her iPad mini from her handbag like a magician and told us she was going to take our photo.
So I've processed us in a collage on FastStone with a shot I took of a border of yellow flowers. Appropriate, as the flowers at our wedding were yellow roses with variegated ivy and stephanotis. (I carry a camera about with me now.)
And my abiding memory of the wedding service is Ray, afterwards, seemingly almost running down the aisle and struggling to keep up with him.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Happy Anniversary! West Dean is a beautiful place to go and celebrate, Bet you couldn't decide which flowers to snap!!! So the gentleman on your left isn't one of your stranger project then???
A very happy wedding anniversary to you both. A long & happy marriage is a great blessing in life & in the days when we got married I think looking back we hardly knew each other compared to today's couples. Picking in the dark really so anyone who makes it as far as this, ( ours on the 12th September 54 years) deserves an Olympic medal, a gold one at that!!
And a late congratulations from me too. I've been hardly here for several days so, sorry I missed it first time around. Good wishes for many more years together.
David, thank you - made me smile!
Sandy, thank you. Perhaps having us on the wall as well as in the house could be too much?!!!
William, I've been waiting for somebody to say that!!!!!!!!!!!!
