in remembrance

We took a little trip to Lee on Solent yesterday.

Not to walk too far as after hydrotherapy the previous day, we went down to Winchester and I walked a mile.

We sat in the little sunken garden, given over just now to wreaths for remembrance.

By his name 'Bryant' on the war memorial
had been placed this beautiful wreath to
Corporal Phillip Bryant:

"Never forgotten
From your two sisters
We love you"
What a poignant reminder of the fragility of life and the harm that war can cause. A lovely photo.
