@cleanfreak@creativeamateur@gerry@wordpixman Thanks for looking and commenting - this rather unusual beach entrance does seem to draw one in. In Feb 2010 in the Xinthia storm, the dyke was breached near here and the nearby park and neighbouring houses all flooded. It was only one street way from where we were staying and the one night that we had really heavy winds, I did have a few thoughts in the night. Nobody was killed here in 2010 but several people were on the mainland north of La Rochelle.
