Well, here we are in Pornic. "Why is it," I asked Ray as I was eating my blanquette de veau (I know, I know,) in the airport restaurant at Nantes, "that other people can come and live in France, and I can't?" "Don't look like that," he said.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Green with envy. Could just plunge in to your photo! Don't worry about the veau - I think I am right in saying that French veal is usually 'rose' - the calves are older and are treated better than ours used to be.
Great photo and ever so true story. France is beautiful and the south of France is a dream, envy you only a little bit I more so envy my brother you felt the same as you years ago and he is living a bit outside of Avignon for age now. In German we have a saying for leading a good life. 'Leben wie Gott in Frankreich' (Living like God in France)
Thanks for you concern. It`s dry and sunny to day
Well how kind and I feel quite reassured now..... The water in this pool is warm, even the shower before you get in is warm!
thank you for comment and fav. My camera was dangerously close to the water!
