I was eating my egg on toast this morning when, through the open door to the hall, I noticed this shot come up on the screensaver on our computer. So I located it in my French holiday pics as I thought it would be apt for the challenge 'pat-tex'.
It's le jardin d'Erygnac in le Périgord Noir - a haven of peace and tranquillity.
Thanks to both of you for your supportive comments and the favs. I'm glad I'd left the computer on whilst I was eating breakfast! (And now I have software to straighten pics which I didn't when I took this - the tall trees were not quite in the vertical!)
Such a beautifully manicured garden -- formal ,but so relaxing -- would love to sit muse and think in such delightful surroundings !! Lovely capture Hazel !
Thanks, Ivan, I suppose a formal garden is just one way of having order and structure in one's life and, as you say, giving a feeling of safety and tranquillity which we all need -well OK I'll just speak for myself!

You've given me pause for thought - I guess the order and symmetry is calming - can't express it very well.......
You too Ferry and thank you for all your support and friendship.
