We went for a walk with Jinks at Fareham Creek this afternoon.

The most interesting shots though were not on the river.

Not in the ditch! Not lying on my tummy! Took my macro lens for a walk as I read that it's good for a walk about lens too. Well it is OK for walk about - but the shape is just my crop. Thank you for comments!

Your new camera gives very pleasing tones and sharpness, Hazel. Nice cropping too.

I'm really pleased with the camera and today I found an extremely helpful article online going through the extensive menu on the a6000 so I can now find everything. ( My only gripe has been the lack of paper manual/support from Sony.) I took the macro lens for a walkabout and used aperture priority on this type of shot. The macro shots I need to work on!
