Jinks says he doesn't want to feature in any more photos wearing that unflattering lampshade collar but here are the geese of South Pond, still strutting their stuff, although there is no sign of a nest or goslings.
After a day of minor annoyances on 'op day' we are doing fine here, have been two little walks (had to carry Jinks home at the end of the first one which is no mean feat as he's heavier than you might think); he likes this convalescent diet of poached chicken breast; everybody had a proper sleep last night.
Ray will be home from his short rambling break in Wales tonight (it wasn't timed to coincide with Jinks' op!) and I'm looking forward to the roast chicken dinner we shall all share.
Great shot, they look as though they are on a mission. Hope they weren't being aggressive.
