When my dad eventually arrived home after his time as a PoW, he brought various documents, photos etc with him, including these two little figures from the factory in Czechoslovakia where he had found refuge in May 1945 with other PoWs in a work camp.
I've traced the little girl figure online which appears(ed) still in production in different colourways. I know that some moulds were destroyed during or after the war and would like to find out if the little boy figure was one of those: he appears to have a forget-me-not flower on his left ear and his hands are holding a stick behind his back.

Beautiful figures Hazel, they must be a prized possession. Can't help you with identification. Have they got any markings and have you ever taken them to an antique dealer to get them valued?
