Quarr Abbey by quietpurplehaze

Quarr Abbey

Distant view. slightly hazy, and heavy overnight rain was the reason the little piglet in the grounds was wallowing in mud trying to get a piece of carrot.

It looks so magestic & I like the hazy effect. And what looks like remnants of an orchard.

I think the orchard is still in use - my white blossom shot came from one of those trees.

Wonderful architecture Hazel, beautifully captured through the haze, I can almost feel the cold chill in the air, Fav:)

@quietpurplehaze that's good to know. The trees must be very old too.

Thanks for the comment and fav, Peter. It certainly was damp and chilly but then one of those lovely days when the sun breaks through and gives quite a different feel.
