I found out today that I qualify for a 4th album on 365 so, having resolved to put not more than 2 pics on each day this year, I foolishly decided to open album no 4! This first shot is dedicated to you Pat @happypat and to you Sophia @sophiaz so that you have at least seen a photo of mistletoe growing on a tree in the wild rather than just a reflection! http://365project.org/quietpurplehaze/a-few-more/2014-01-04
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Thanks, Barbara Sue. I'm pleased to be doing a little bit of education on behalf of mistletoe! Anything else? Well, there's dog walking, cooking, French Lit, Spanish and German conversation, digital photography group (perhaps that doesn't count?!), swimming, lunch with friends, cleaning the house (not too often!).................
There's a lot around here in southern England and I've also seen it in Northern France. It's always tantalizing high in the trees so I still need to buy some if I want to have it at Christmas!
Good shot that really illustrates the growth of the mistletoe - when it grows on gum trees (that are evergreen) it is not as noticeable. I like the sheep grazing too.

That's interesting. I think it's always on deciduous trees in England.
Oh we have coconut ice which is made from dessicated coconut, sugar and water and sometimes is coloured pink as well as white.
