Silverfields Headframe

This gigantic cylinder is used as a crusher to separate the ore and precious metals, it acted like a giant tumbler.
This photo is for the last day of black and white Februay, processed in LR.
I really enjoyed experimenting with processing B&w in LR, thank you Ann for organizing this month.
Thank you for your comments and favs on my photo yesterday "Looking Back in Time revisited"
That is one massive piece of equipment! I'm assuming it sets unused these days, yes? Great hunky details, and moody sky in the background. (Was it edited in? I'm only asking because that was one of the Sandbox activities...) Congrats on the completely of your B&W February. You and your LR program worked wonderfully together.

I love the way the photo makes the tower seem like a miniature.

Great industrial shot, and the scale is fantastic with the large cylinder and small what looks like a wooden cab.

Not only does this pov make the machinery look beyond massive (which I'm sure it is!) but it makes the tower in the background look like it's 7 miles high! Fantastic shot!
