Salt by randystreat

Salt

The prompt for today was coarse. This is sea salt and regular table salt. This really looks much better on the black background.
Very nice not to have either size blur! Just yesterday I was served rock sugar--it was brown.

This is a cool photo Kathy. I didn't think it looked like salt. It's really neat looking through the lens of a camera.

@cejaanderson I had to play with f-stops to get the focus right and I'm not 100% pleased with it, but had no more time to play. Thank you for the comment. Rock sugar? On a stick?
@lindamp5 Thanks Linda. It doesn't really look like salt, but I felt the need to magnify it a bit to compare the two types.
@jamibann Thank you Issi. I always appreciate your comments.
@cocobella Thank you Corinne. As I said to Jane (above) I'm not 100% pleased, but it turned out pretty good.
@craftymeg Thank you Margaret.
@pyrrhula I appreciate your kind comments Pyrrhula. I thouhgt it was pretty up close and contrasted against the red.

It looks far more exotic than just salt... it's suprising what results you can get when you try something different.
