We had shopped a little in the late afternoon and saw these ladies in their fur coats, tiaras and long dresses outside a restaurant. I hjust had to take their photo as we passed by. Further investigation after returning home indicated they were attending a "Downton Abbey Finale Season Vintage Banquet Immersive Experience". Don't the men look like they really want to be there?!
Ahh the things they do for wives and loved ones, such a fed up face, but the ladies seem to be well into an interesting conversation, hope the food made up for it all!!
Fur coats aren`t very popular in our country no way days . You get a sticker on it that say`s : Fur coats are worn by beautiful animals and ugly people . Great nice shot any how.
@cejaanderson I thought it was pretty funny when I shot it, but it got funnier the more I looked at it when I got it home. @dibzgreasley Probably so. They did get to drink, wine with every course, cocktails beforehand and Infused moonshine cordial at intermission. @jamibann Thanks. @pusspup I think at least two of them are faux fur. The town it takes place in has a lot of people in who would frown on the real mccoy. @novab Thanks. I know I wouldn't pony up $85 for a ticket. I'm too cheap. The dress was white tie optional. @craftymeg Yes I've dragged my husband to lots of things, but he's never had to dress up so much to go, except maybe to a wedding. Hahaha! The men are hilarious! I love to dress up like that. We have a ball in April. I can't wait (although, I won't get to wear my fur coat, too hot!),
