They're known as Rubecia (spelling?) here and they grow like Topsy. Our garden backs on to farmland and thus enjoys/endures farmers and their fertilisers. Love them, yet have hauled them them out as they are so invasive.

@s4sayer Thank you. I love them too and I'm such a poor gardener, they died back on their own for me when I planted them.
