I'm not sure if I posted a photo of this before, but I know I haven't taken one with the "new" lens.
The way you've processed this makes it look as if the shot was actually taken underwater... excellent. And I'm glad you resisted any urge to do this in colour - the textures and form render better in B&W.

@vignouse Not a whole lot of processing. You're right about the color. I did bring up the contrast just a bit after turning the original into a B&W.

This was a great subject for black and white. The surface of the coral is a great reflector of the light which brings out the texture.
