Where did that come from? by randystreat

Where did that come from?

Noticed this little seed head on a plant I brought in from outside to winter over.
Good question. It looks like a little fairy ballerina.

Lovely dof and colours.
In answer to your question Cathy, I edit on my iPad Pro with a apple app called SNAPSEED, I find it simple with a good choice of effects although I tend to use HDR on photos that I want to pop. Although it doesn't suit a lot of photos but this is evident when you try to process them. It's just a trial and error thing.

What a nice little surprise. I think you'll have to plant it in the Spring so you can see what it is- and then possibly know where it came from too!

Oh, that seed has plans; hang out in your house until spring then flutter off to somewhere to start a new life. It thanks you for the warm place to winter over.

@skstein Well it does. I hadn't thought of that. Thanks Sandy
@craftymeg Thank you Margaret. I have Snapseed on my (Samsung) phone. I do very little photo processing on my tablet, whch is also a Samsung, so hadn't thought to download it onto the tablet. I wonder if there's an website for my desktop which is an iMac.
@s4sayer Thank you Margo. I really need to cut those geraniums back.
@ziggy77 Thank you Jo.
@pyrrhula Thank you Pyrrhula.
@kwind Thank you for your comments KWind.
@thewatersphotos Haha! I've never seen them in the house in the winter before.
@olivetreeann Thanks for the suggestion Ann. I'll probably pass. There's a good chance neither it or the plant will last that long. My thumb's not very gtreen.
@digitalrn Thanks Rick.
@lyndemc Haha! Just maybe Denise.
