I recently tried my hand at fabric "painting". More of a collage, but fun. As always I was the last to finish. There are a couple things I wish I had done differently, but this is a first for me, so will do better another time. (If there is another time.)
FAV What an unusual medium! You are really getting very artsy and branching out in many directions. I really like this one. Do you attach the fabric to a canvas?

Thank you everyone. And thanks to all those creative people who lead me to doing something out of my box. I have found I've enjoyed the latest endeavors. I need to get my ducks in a row and carve out some time to do more. They have been very fun and very relaxing. @grammyn Katy, I started with an idea pulled off Pinterest. We took fabric scraps (of which I'm sure you have many. Who knew you should keep that stuff.) Then after cutting it the shape/size desired, we used Elmer's Glue and glued it to a canvas. Had I more experience, I would have drawn the picture on another piece of paper, then cut out the shapes to use as pattern pieces to cut out the fabric. I bought 6 fat quarters because I didn't have any fabric scraps that would work. I didn't have a really good selection so the colors of the sky are much darker than planned. Thank goodness for the person leading the program because she had tons of scraps.
Very nice composition! Yet another fabric art to add to those you have done. If it doesn't involve any actual stitching, it might be something even I could try. Don't hold your breath though.
