hi Kathy, for get pushed i sometimes look in peoples camera manuals to find things they might not use or know about their cameras, as you are doing black and white i was wondering if you have used the in-camera picture modes to take monochrome images, there is apparently a rich tone mono and high contrast mono setting see here http://helpguide.sony.net/ilc/1540/v1/en/contents/TP0000818700.html if you would also like a subject i will give you digits, either numerals or fingers/toes whichever you like.
