green life growing in a burned out area in the mountains
It's amazing how quickly the plants and trees will come back even after a fire. Good shot.

@olivetreeann You are right. My husband was impressed that it is what he believes to be a fragile plant that came back first.

Kathy, I am Kathy, your get pushed partner this week. I have looked through your very interesting photos and faved many of them. I specially like those where you used varied depth of field. Do you still have a cat? Or access to one? As your challenge I would like to see a low key photo of your (or any) cat. A dog or child will also do. Ok? Kathy

@kathyboyles I will try. I actually don't have any pets. I probably can "hang" out at my friend's house. She has one cat and one visiting cat. Thank you for this challenge.

@tosee @craftymeg @pyrrhula @kwind Thank you everyone for your comments. I've been "napping" since the 19th. No photographs to speak of. I will try to "wake up" and begin again in the morning.
