I mentioned in another photo that I took a dyeing class. The class was held at a retreat being held at a place just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Here's a view from the lodge of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

I'm sure other mountain ranges afford the same, but I've only seen it in the Appalachian Mountains, especially the Blue Ridge (which is one section of the Applachians).( Guess I need to get out more.)
