Seeds sprouting

April 2020 words - optimistic

I planted some seeds that I saved from a plant last fall. I'm hoping they will come up and be strong so that i can plant them in the garden. These are actually just a trial to see if there were any viable seeds.
Hope it comes up!

@thewatersphotos Me too. But I may plant the rest directly into the garden.

love when seeds sprout. can't wait for the weather to get warm enough to plant the garden
April 20th, 2020
Well, it looks like they're viable- how fun.

Nice. We've got lots of things on trial in our greenhouse. Some are working (so far), others perhaps not. Great fun though!

Constantly amazed by nature. Look forward to seeing the fruits of your labour.

I keep the fingers crossed !
April 20th, 2020
So far so good. What kind of seeds did you plant??
April 20th, 2020
Looks like they're growing. Hopefully get strong enough to plant outside.
April 20th, 2020
Hope you have some luck !!

Let's hope for the best!

I planted whatever seeds were left from last year or given to me. It was either plant them or throw them away. We'll see what happens.
April 20th, 2020
Fingers crossed, keep us posted :-)

@swguevin2 Yes. It's not quite warm enough yet here, either, thank goodness because I have to reweed the garden.
@olivetreeann I hope they will grow when I plant them in the ground.
@jamibann I'm not good at getting them from the sprouting stage to the growing into plants stage.
@wakelys Thank you Susan. Hopefully there will be some pretty flowers to photograph.
@cocobella Thank you Corinne.
@jb030958 Thanks Jennie. These are liatris. I have a head of coneflowers stuck in dirt in another pot, but nothing so far. @serendypyty Thank you Cazzi. I hope so too.
@craftymeg Thank you Margaret.
@hajeka Thanks Henk-Jan
@tunia I had some from a number of years ago and someone gave me some that are several years old, too. We'll see how those go. I did buy a bag of annual flower seeds (butterfly/hummingbird mix) the other day at the grocery store. I hope they do well. I'm not sure I'm going to get my usual zinnia seeds. :(
@overalvandaan Thank you Saxa. I will.

Fingers crossed for you. I have some free carrot seeds that are sprouting well indoors, but I'm waiting for the threat of frost to be gone before they go outdoors. Good luck with yours.
April 21st, 2020
Nice try. Wish you all luck with it . As I often do it myself I know it can go fine and wrong without explanation why.
April 21st, 2020
@tinley23 Yes, it's still frosting here as well. Besides I've got to reweed my garden spot before I plant anything there. Thanks Lesley.
@pyrrhula Thanks Ferry. I don't exactly have a green thumb either, so I need all the luck I can get.
April 22nd, 2020
Good luck! Not sure you've said what they are though?
April 23rd, 2020
@will_wooderson Thank you. If they make it, which I'm not sure they will, these would be liatris.
