Get Pushed Challenge 417
My Get Pushed partner challenged me to give advice for my younger self.
This was difficult because there are so many things I might have done differently had I known then what I know now. Most of it I cannot concern myself with because I did the best I could. Some of the regrets deal with my tendancy to procrastination.
@arnica17 Here's my image for your challenge. I was working on this yesterday afternoon, when I lost my work close to the time I had to quit. Never had enough time to finish last night so worked on it today. It was challenging to figure out how to express what I was thinking pictorially. I did enjoy doing this, but Photoshop, where I put this together, is always so frustrating for me. Thank you for pushing me to be introspective as well as a bit creative.

Wow! What an amazing challenge! You did great with the idea and the photos. I'm not sure I would want to go back and consider how would advise a younger me! Well done!

good job completing your challenge!

This is a great collage! Great advice too, it's quite universal as well. I like the younger and older "you" are present on the corner.

Lovely collage and a great message. Unfortunately grown up children have little time for their parents.

Well presented challenge.

I think we all feel that way Kathy- maybe for different reasons but each one of us knows that if we'd done a few things differently we'd feel a lot better about them now. Excellent answer to the challenge!

Creative and thoughtful but you did the best you could along the way and that's all that needs to be said.

@thewatersphotos Thank you Gary. It is that time in my life to thin about this stuff. What I have decided to think about these things and be more proactive while I can.
@taffy Thank you Taffy.
@bkbinthecity Thanks Brian
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thank you so much Jackie
@pyrrhula Thanks Ferry
@fbaileyThank you Felicity. I had many ideas from the onset. Narrowing them down and finding a way to present them was very difficult.
@grammyn Thank you Katy. Perhaps is will make others think and make changes before it's "too late."
@jb030958 Thanks Jennie
@arnica17 thank you Arnica.
@haskar Thanks Haskar.
@sangwann Dione thank you. You're right about grown children. Not only do grown children have families and jobs, but many of us lived far away from our parents. I also became an adult in the age of expensive long distance calling.
@ziggy77 Thank you very much Jo.
@olivetreeann Thank you Ann. Our task at this time in our life is to try not to hold on to the regrets. Fix what we can and forgive ourselves for the rest.
@tunia Thank you Tunia. I appreciate you saying that about what I've done and not done. My husband was incredibly supportive like that too.

What a superb response to a tough challenge! So well thought out and executed!
Makes me realize that time really does fly by and youth is wasted on the young!

Boy, can I relate to the procrastination issue. Really creative response to the challenge. God for you for braving Photoshop. If you continue to use it more, it probably will get to be less intimidating.

@farmreporter Thank you Wendy. I knew this and still didn't do things.
@mcsiegle Thanks so much Mary. I hope your statement about using Photoshop is prophetic.
