I like this black and white- while it looks like the plant is done for it, my guess is a good trim and it will spring back to life. Until then a great subject and well-composed!
Kathy, we are partners in the get pushed challenge this week. My challenge to you is to capture something with repeated lines or a repeated pattern, though not necessarily an abstract.

Thank you everyone. I appreciate all your comments and favs. I was doing some gardening yesterday, digging up weeds and thinning out some red hot pokers. I pulled up this wad of leaves, but it didn't have much of a root. I thought I'd save it and plant it somewhere else. So while I was taking a break, I pulled out my phone and took some photos of some of the plants. I thought the shapes in this were good, and when I processed it in b&w, I liked it even more.

Bet you didn’t think it would end up on the PP! Sometimes I plan and fuss and don’t even get any comments😟. Then other days I point and shoot and it gets lots of positive comments. Looks like this is what you achieved here!
