@wakelys Thank you Susan. It takes me a lot of shots to get one I can use. @summerfield Thanks Vikki. I wish there were but that for one thing they have been chasing each other away from the feeder when more than one comes to feed. @linnypinny Thank you Lin.
@pyrrhula Thank you Ferry. @grammyn Thanks Katy. I worked on this so it would look seamless, but I also didn't want anyone to think that it was actually two birds. That's the reason for the disclaimer. @thewatersphotos Thank you Gary. They have really been flitting around my garden this year. They like the bee balm I planted last year. @bkbinthecity Thanks Brian. @brillomick Thank Mickey. Since you said that before about the trumpet vine, I've been watching mine and your right. They're going to those blooms as well as the bee balm. @kjarn Thank you Kathy. A little bit of photoshop magic. @30pics4jackiesdiamond Thank you Jackie. @jb030958 Thanks Jennie. I don't know why they come some seasons and others they don't. I know for myself I have to pay attention because I'll miss them if I don't. I will say they like the bee balm this year. I planted it last year, but didn't notice them in it. @jernst1779 Thank you Jean. They are such amazing little birds.
Impressive composite work! I thought you managed to catch one waiting in the wings. I do have two at a time every now and then but I've never caught them in the same picture and they're usually fighting over it, not taking turns.
@olivetreeann Thank you Ann. I'm not quick enough or patient enough to try to get two at a time. They are unpredictable. @haskar Thank on both counts Hannah. @overalvandaan Thank you Ferry. Sometimes more than one come to the feeder but then they fight and one usually flies off.
