I've seen Indian Corn all my life, but only as a decoration. In order to answer your questions I did a little research. Apparently it is edible, is not sweet like yellow or white corn, but is used to grind into meal or flour or to use as popcorn. Now that I've read this, I realize one of my favorite popcorns is blue. Of course it pops into white fluffy kernels.
