Your pile is so much more artistic than mine are—or maybe it’s the dread Zi feel looking at them that destroys any artistic inclinations. I love the way the background has turned out.
I always enjoy images that most people would ignore, and this is one! The close up detail of the curled pages next to the very appealing soft background works very well!
@marshwader I appreciate your feedback as always Madeleine. I'm afraid I don't think much about the details in this way. I will have to pay better attention.

Thanks to everyone. We all have papers. Give a close up shot a try. Your papers might be nicer to look at when you get finished. Katy, I used a Raynox DCR-150 Snap-On Macro Lens. Not great quality but overall does a decent job. Easier to snap it on the end of the lens than to use extension tubes. But the latter do a better job. The background colors are the sunlight and overhead lights on junk piled up behind the papers.
