This is the sort of image I really enjoy. I like the mystery of the narrative and sense of some sort of drama. My only comment I would say is the moon is as good as in the central position. I think if it were mine I would experiment with cropping a bit of either side (not both) and see which one looks more successful. My gut feeling it would be better cropped a bit off the right hand side. I enjoy the rim light on the tree and have no problem with the negative space. Well done!
@grammyn It's ok Katy. I do appreciate your comments. @haskar Thank you Hannah. I tried very hard to get the moon in focus and the grass in the foreground in focus. It was dark & I was using my SLR which I'm out of practice with, so it didn't happen like I'd hoped. @rensala Thank you Renee. @wakelys Thanks Sue. @pusspup Thank you Wylie. @kjarn Thank you Kathy. @marshwader Thank you for your feedback. You have a more artistic eye than I do and I can always use the helpful tips. Did you see the cropped campanula in my Others folder? @taffy Thank you Taffy. There were better seed heads but they were right in line with the power line running to the house. Too late to fool with that. @jacqbb Thank you Jacqueline. @craftymeg Thanks Meg.
