Overgrown

Have been working in the yard some the past two days.
Lovely capture of this feathery plant

Good exercise and so rewarding

@corinnec Thanks Corinne. It's a seed head from grass.
@tunia I could be fooled, but I doubt we have any snow this winter. Of course there's always March. Glad to get some things done. I gathered and took a load of brush (back end of the truck) to the dump this afternoon.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond I hate it Jackie and have to psych myself up to do it. I have more to do, but not sure when it will get done.

Impressed most definitely with your industriousness! I have so much to do, but I just cannot make myself get out there and do it! Our vacillating weather probably has something to do with that!

I really like your photo, especially that feathery looking portion

@randystreat I really dislike gardening too!! No sooner cut grass pulled weeds and they're back!!
February 16th, 2024
We’ve got to do that too, but it keeps raining.

Nice capture!

No yard work here yet- it's still covered with snow!
February 17th, 2024
I hope you achieved what you wanted to achieve
February 17th, 2024
Nice capture, we can’t get into ours we would sink!!

@grammyn Thanks Katy. Used the pruning chain saw. Wish I knew about them along time ago.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond You are spot on!
@shutterbug49 I'll be stalled out now. The weather turned cool, which is not the problem, but I'll be busy during the day a lot of the days next week.
@kwind Thank you.
@olivetreeann No snow here of which I'm glad.
@kjarn Thanks Kathy. I let it all go last year, so I have a lot to do.
@craftymeg Thanks Meg. You've had a lot of water (rain) in recent days.
February 17th, 2024
@randystreat doesn’t that make everything so much easier?!
February 17th, 2024
A bit of hard and difficult work. But in spring this land will thank you.
February 18th, 2024
@grammyn Yes! Thanks for telling me about it. Now to hand pull the dead weeds in the garden. No good tools that I know of for that. If you do, please pass it on.
@haskar Thank you Hannah. Not a big job in general but a task for me who hates working outside. But I got the trees out of the rhododendron and the holly that self planted too close to the house cut way back. I wish it would die off. Don't want to use chemicals if I don't have to.
February 19th, 2024
@randystreat the only hint I have for that is I try to wait until after it has rained so they come out of the ground easier
February 19th, 2024
@grammyn Yes I was thinking that, but of course, no sign of rain in our forecast.
February 20th, 2024
@randystreat Seems like a good excuse to delay the weeding to me!
