Huntington Beach, the site of many local and international surfing competitions, attracts thousands of beach goers every day. This family was just coming out of the water as I walked by about
7:30 pm.
Huntington Beach, oh the memories. This is a beautiful shot it and the pier, and a family to add interest, but I can't believe it isn't jammed with people. My husband and I, when dating in high school and college, spent lots of days on this beach. We lived in Whittier then. We'd spend the day at Huntington, and on the way home stop off at Knott's Berry Farm (free admission then!), wander Ghost Town awhile, and then go home. Like I said -- Oh, the memories.
Such lovely colours, and the jetty is so picturesque. Judging by what the people are wearing, it must be a little cold, as I would have thought a beach this lovely would be packed with people.
This is such a lovely picture! Love the colors, and the family set against the backdrop of the pier (which, by the way, I have not yet visited....love the structure at the end!). Yes, it has been cold at the beach....and, overcast...I was wrapped up in a towel on Sunday, but there were a lot of people in the water already.
