as much as i like colour, this here is imho the better version. the details of the black and white pottery do not compete with the details of the coloured flowers.
I kept going back and forth between the two shots, and ultimately I think this one is better because the orchids stand out so much more strongly against the monochrome background. That being said, I think the tones in the other one between the foreground and background are so different that it still works great. I think I might have given color to the pots that the orchids are planted in here in order to isolate the entire flower.
