Historic City Hall by redy4et

Historic City Hall

Sonoma City Hall, dedicated in 1908, was built with four identical facades so that the each of the merchants in the town plaza could claim it faced them. Today it's a focal point in the middle of the town square, surrounded by cafés, boutiques and wine bars.
Nice lighting for the picture - and really interesting write-up.

That is an interesting fact about the building. What a great photo! The blue sky and golden light go well together.

A wonderful night shot, Elizabeth! Have you thought about posting it in the camerasavvy night photography thread? Others probably would appreciate seeing your photo and knowing the settings you used.

Wonderful night shot.....now, as far as the four identical facades.....has it ever occurred to them how hard it would be to find the front door?!
