Northern Paper Wasp on Paper

This guy was in the house. I grabbed a piece of paper, scooped it up, took it outside and shot a couple frames against the paper before it flew away. Not many frames today, so I’m glad this turned out well enough.

Confirmed at BugGuide as “Polistes fuscatus” or “Northern Paper Wasp”; http://bugguide.net/node/view/1016622

A nice clear close-up Thom, and I would imagine they are almost ready to hide away for the season
