Ripples by rhoing

Ripples

All three buoys are visible far-left, left-of-center and right-of-center. They are marked "NO WAKE," so power boats slow down when they enter this area around the dock and ramp. Instead of a deep wake from a boat that just went by, I managed to capture a nice pattern of gentler waves or ripples before heading out to row. (Of course, with decks that are only a couple-or-few inches off the water, scullers always appreciate it when power boats cut their throttle going by us.)

It gives it nice effects, and I am sure a non-compliant boater would cause some problems
