That seems like a long way! Do you have a "goal" for miles per day? My wife and I have begun walking five miles each day. We hav Fitbits that motivate us (aka "bug us" with beeps through out the day if we don't move!!)

@thewatersphotos This day's 8½ miles is a healthy distance. I try for a minimum of 10K (6.2 miles) to make it worth my while. It may not seem like much, but the last part of every workout is getting the shell home. I row for exercise, so when I'm done, I'm usually pretty tired. But then I have to dead-lift the 35–40 pound shell out of the water, raise it over my head and then carry it up the slope leading to the dock to get it to my car (in the rock-star parking spot!). It. Is. Great. Exercise. :)
