We had storms and then we had some sunshine and then we were able to watch the lightning, as you can see on the far right of this photo. Lots of rain out there, but fortunately, on the pier, we actually stayed dry.
The colours are great and well done for catching the lightening strike. My only other comment is it is a little soft without any point in focus. This might be because you have cropped into it or did a big de-noise in post production. There are lots of excellent software now that can help with noise reduction. I hope you don't mind my critique?
@marshwader Thanks Madeleine. No problem with the comments, can always use some help on the photos. I think the issue with this one is really the long exposure. Was doing that to try to get the lightning, but with all of the clouds and water moving, it would tend to make things look a little soft. Main focus point was the horizon line, but agree, that did not come out the best in the end.
