Looked like the berries were all dried up, so not sure what was drawing the butterfly to them.

Beautiful shot with such nice lighting. I'm not sure, but might he be a Viceroy rather than a Monarch - those two look so much alike. I haven't seen but 2 or 3 monarchs the whole summer this year. Fav

@jnorthington @milaniet thanks Judy and Milanie. Milanie, I believe you are right on this one. I didn't think it looked quite right for the Monarch, but just couldn't find anything closer. My reference didn't have the viceroy. Thanks again.
