What's interesting to me is how similar it looks to part of a river near my sister in the state of Vermont- and their river base is granite too. Nice reflection!

@jgpittenger I think you would like our area - it's totally different to where you live but has a lot to offer i a different way. Unfortunately, I think our chances for travel overseas may be limited for quite some time.... :)

@olivetreeann The granite rocks are what make the area so beautiful - it would be interesting to see that area where your sister lives. I'll do a google search for granite and Vermont. :)

I don't think I have any of those photos in digital form- I would have been using my 35mm camera when I took pictures there. You might try images for The Winooski River in Vermont or images for the river that runs through Montpelier Vermont.
