I saw this blossom in my neighbour's garden today and thought I had better capture it because if we get some really bad weather or snow, it might not last. I think it is flowering cherry but I'm sure it's not usually out so early. it was a toss up between this and the first winter aconite - that might get posted tomorrow
Very pretty - I was hoping for blossom in the Winter Garden but couldn't get in - I could see it all from the outside! There's lots of blossom out in Cambridge - some is the winter stuff but I'm certain some of the trees which blossomed in November didn't flower until mid-Jan last year because I took a photo!
