My geraniums have flowered all winter in the conservatory and this is one of my favourites. I like the colour and it is a cutting that I took from one that had become rather "leggy". I still have the bigger one but this cutting is now coming into its own and is nice and bushy with a lovely big flower. I wasn't really inspired today as by the time I left work, it had become overcast. It was a lovely day yesterday but I had to go and do the food shopping. Why is it I always choose the wrong day to do it? If I'd known it was going to be grey today, I would have saved my shopping and gone out with my camera yesterday. I miss going to see my Mum in the afternoons as I used to go most days either to see her or my Auntie so I sometimes feel at a bit of a loss as to how to spend my time in the best way possible and end up feeling a bit bored and fed up. Oh well, at least the better weather should be round the corner and I will be able to go for walks down by the river in our village and see if I can find some more unusual birds. Im afraid my Geraniums have been neglected this winter . were as yours look so beautiful.I know how you feel about not being able to visit your Mum, mine passed away 2 yrs ago and I still really miss her every day.
Lovely flowers! I hope you find an afternoon activity that fills you as much as visiting your mom. Maybe gardening? Or working with kids or teens in some way?
Beautiful geraniums - such an unusual, delicate colour! It sounds like you should find a volunteering activity to keep yourself occupied - it's a great way of keeping busy. Local primary schools are usually desperate for people to listen to kids read etc...
@mnara We have a huge garden and the weather is getting better so I'm sure that I'll be busy planting my vegetables and setting seeds to grow in the greenhouse. I think I just miss the chats I had with Mum

I just miss chats with my Mum and I work with a lot of elderly people visiting them at home and helping people with things like benefits, putting them in touch with people who can provide a bit of company, etc. so I'm kept pretty busy at work. I think I was just having a bit of an off day
