On my cycle ride yesterday with my husband, it looked like there were all kinds of water fowl over on the lakes but he was impatient, so I didn't stop and take any pics. I decided that as I was having a day off work today (as I am owed so much time!), I would cycle back to the lakes myself. It looked a bit dodgy with the weather as the storm clouds were gathering but I pressed on. Anyway, I managed to take a few pics but all I could see were swans, a few common ducks but not much else. Hey ho. Still dedicated to the cause, I got soaked into the bargain but got home just before the terrible deluge. See "Even more" for a pic of my gutter overflowing!
