Wood Lane

I took a very brisk walk up Wood Lane as I got home earlier than usual from work because I had to start earlier than usual! The snow has soon disappeared round here but I went to Millbrook this morning and the roads were treacherous as the side roads had not been treated. The lady driving into the car park before me slid and then was frightened to drive up the steep slope into the car park but after a bit of reassurance that if she went slowly she would be alright she followed me up there. The trouble was we had to go down a steep slope turn a right hand corner to get up another steep slope into the car park. I must admit I was thankful when I finally left the meeting and took another road back to the office through Ampthill as the roads were much better there

A really beautiful shot! Lovely colour in the sky. I discovered that my anti-skid brakes take a long time to stop - luckily I was going slowly and there was no traffic coming on the main road....

Getting into the car park sounds very scary, even just reading about it!
