This is Ringo an amazon green parrot who I saw at Seasons Garden Centre yesterday when I went there for a meeting with the Community Development Officer from the Wixams which is a new town being built just outside Bedford. The Wixams is one of the "villages" I am responsible for and they are starting to build village 2 at the moment. Ringo is free to roam in the garden centre but seems quite happy to just stay on his play centre where he has a box (just like Bas) and some toys as well as his seed which you can see in the pic. He is very sweet but I didn't give him a cuddle like I do with Bas as there is a notice there asking people not to touch him as he might bite! Unlike Bas who will never peck anyone whatever you do to him!
A great shot of Ringo - you are so good at bird shots. Your story reminds me of being in a garden centre once and there was a parrot like Ringo in a cage with a huge notice saying 'Do not put your fingers in the cage'. But one lady did just that and got a nasty bite. I won't write here what she said!
