This is a filler as it has been sleeting and snowing here all morning and it's freezing cold out there so I probably won't get out for a walk! We've had loads of birds coming to the feeders in the garden as they need so much food to keep warm. In fact, I shall have to go and top them up again because at the moment I am having to fill them every day. We have 3 large sunflower heart feeders, 1 nyger seed (which doesn't need filling so often), mixed seed for small birds such as blue tits, etc., 2 lots of suet ball/slab feeders and 1 with nuts as well as food I put on the bird table for the blackbirds, etc. and dried fruit and suet pellets which I put out for them as well as the thrushes, starlings, etc. I am going to be spoilt again by going to my daughter's for dinner tonight and it will be nice to meet up again with my son in law's parents too
Hope you have a lovely time with your family. I'm cooking dinner myself but the children have been over today so it was lovely to see them. Yes, I'm back for today - I'm surprised how much I miss it positng a picture every day.
