This is a picture of a bullfinch in my diary that I have standing in my kitchen - you might have guessed it would be one with bird pics in it! I did have a bullfinch in my garden last year picking among the forget me knots and I did post a pic (I will have to go back through and see when it was). The picture I took was not brilliant though. I would love a bullfinch to visit me again and bring his mate with him. The Quackers are sitting in the garden sunning themselves and Steve said they were there last night when he went out at 8.30pm. Strange that they were there in the dark. I think I have adopted them now and just hope they will lay some eggs and hatch some fluffy ducklings for me. I'm feeling washed out with no energy but not coughing like I did last night. Poor Steve - I kept him awake.
It was obviously here later than I thought because I posted the pic on 4 June.
Aren't they lovely. We came accross a whole bush of them whilst we were watching red kites in Scotland a couple of years ago. Did I have my camers? Of course not

A very nice pic! I like bullfinches. There are a lot of them in winter time. Alas, they've gone now. I hope to see them next winter and I wish you meet them too.
