Misty sunset

A heck of a rush today as I worked this afternoon and I've got to be in Bedford for 7pm tonight as I am meeting my friends for dinner. I actually wrote most of my Christmas cards this morning having tackled it head on. Just a few more to do.

The friends I'm meeting have been my friends since 1979 when we met on a college course during English Literature. We had an amazing teacher who was very whacky and he read sex into everything. He had wild long grey hair and was quite a character. However, we all passed! We have remained friends ever since. They are all older than me so I'm the baby amongst them! Anyway, I didn't have time for taking pics today really but rushed along the main road to get some pics across the fields of the sunset before I go out. It has been misty all day with thick fog in places.
Lovely capture!!I've ,actually got around to writing my cards today, too.Going out for a meal tonight with my pharmacy colleagues.

Nicely done, Rosie. We had a spectacular sunrise this morning and the sunset was "Meh! Whatever!" Guess which one I wasn't prepared for?

Hi Rosie! Wow am I impressed! Some fantastic bird work - the fieldfare!- I have trouble spotting the little blighters, never mind taking their pictures! And I obviously had my eyes closed when that sunset was happening!

Lovely sunset -- I like the story about your friends and the professor. I have similar memories of some of my English classes.
