The planting of Jubilee Wood by rosiekind

The planting of Jubilee Wood

As you can see, I wasn't the only photographer when we went to Biggleswade to plant Jubilee Wood. I work for Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity (there are RCCs all over the country) and my job can be quite diverse! Today, some of us went to Biggleswade to plant a wood of fruit trees in commemoration of the fact that our RCC is 60 years old. We have planted 60 different kinds of fruit trees, apples, pears, plums and cherries. There will be a nice view from the new houses to be able to look over at our wood. It was very windy as it is very open across the fields and if you have a look at my Even More album, you will see that the skies were very stormy at times.
A great idea to plant fruit trees!!
