I thought I would hang on too - under the trees in Wood Lane hoping for the rain to stop but it didn't so I came back home. I thought I wouldn't walk too far because it looked as though it would pour - the rain is stopping me from getting out for my walks (2 days running now). Anyway I saw this little blue tit hanging on to a tree probably pecking around for little grubs in the bark. They are such dear little birds and I love them but then which birds don't I love?!! LOL. I decided I would go home and do some baking only to find out that I didn't have all the ingredients for the cake I wanted to make! Ughhhh I've made a list so on Sunday I shall stock up the store cupboard. However, in looking for the golden syrup it made me turn out the cupboards so I've thrown a few things out which I seem to have had since the year dot so it wasn't all a waste of time. The apple pie and mince pies that I made last night were pretty yummy so I think Steve quite liked the idea that I had stayed at home instead of going walking!
Lovely capture Rosie!! I posted a blue tit today too - snap!! LOL!! It is very unusual for them to come to my bird feeders so it was lovely to see. Such cute little birds!!
