These children were enjoying feeding the swans this afternoon when I stopped along the Embankment in Bedford. I had been to collect my mounted pics in order to deliver them to the person arranging the Camera Club Exhibition and I didn't actually see them until I unwrapped them at Diana's house. I was so pleased with them. Wally has done a tremendous job with the mounts and I'm delighted. I'm also pleased that I am guaranteed to get them hung at the Exhibition (my first). It feels terribly exciting! The Exhibition is not until November so I shall have a long time to wait to see them displayed in the Harpur Suite in Bedford but it will be worth the wait. I didn't think in my wildest dreams that when I started 365 in October 2011 I would be entering things in camera club exhibitions. Really it's all down to doing 365 that I've become so interested in photography.
If you look carefully, you will see 2 heads poking above the grass from the river - the swan and her cygnet.
Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs and I hope everyone had a great weekend despite the weather!
